New lockdown hobby! (Not that I needed another one!)
I’ve always been a doodler, but found the older I’m getting – the less time and motivation to pick up the pencil (Actually now called the ‘ipencil’ or ‘Apple Pencil’)!
I’m a sucker for romance and a love story (hence the industry I’m in!) and with Valentine’s round the corner and Jimmy carving away, I put an ad out on Instagram “Couple Cartoons for Valentine’s Day” – just to see what would happen! A small flock of enquiries came in and I got to it!
It’s been so much fun! People have sent me photographs and places they love or themes they want – music, travelling, walking adventures. I put the pieces together to make a personalised cartoon. Once I have enough of them they’re sent to be printed by my good friend and local print guy – Steve! Then packaged up and sent off to their new homes!

Side note: They’re called Squidgy Doodles because when I was small – during the time I peaked at doodling – Squidgy was my nickname in my family. (something to do with my cheeks I think!)
